METHOD OF TEST!
The Splashblade was attached to a row of ceramic tiles which in turn were fastened to a 20mm thick chipboard frame. This test sample was supplied by the client. Tests were then carried out using a calibrated load cell and digital readout with the following results.
Test 1:
Test on four Splashblade magnets, folded on to a section of shower curtain. The magnets and shower curtain were attached to the Splashblade. The load required to pull the shower curtain and magnets away from the Splashblade was 0.8kg.
Test 2:
Test to pull the Splashblade away from the ceramic tiles. The load required to pull the top end of the Splashblade away from the ceramic tiles was 72.5kg.
Test 3:
Test to push the Splashblade away from the ceramic tiles.
The load required to push the Splasblade away from the ceramic tiles was 102.0kg.
